Weighing Technology Options

1. Net Weigher System

  • Principle: Product is pre-weighed in a weigh hopper before being discharged into the bag.
  • Feeding Mechanism:
    • Twin screw feeder with coarse & fine feed arrangement
    • Rotary feeder for free-flowing powders
  • Control: Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for precise feed rate adjustment

2. Gross Weigher System

  • Principle: Bag is weighed directly during filling; bag + product weight measured in real-time.

How It Works

Net Weigher Process:

  1. Feeding – Powder fed via twin screw or rotary feeder into weigh hopper
  2. Weighing – Exact batch weight achieved in sealed weigh hopper
  3. Discharge – Powder discharged into bag through telescopic spout
  4. Dust Extraction – Continuous vacuum maintains dust-free transfer
  5. Sealing – Bag transferred to stitching/heat sealing station

Gross Weigher Process:

  1. Bag Placement – Bag clamped onto load cell platform
  2. Direct Filling – Powder fed directly into bag while weighing
  3. Real-Time Adjustment – Feed rate adjusted based on weight gain
  4. Compaction – Bag vibrator/table settles powder
  5. Sealing & Release – Bag sealed and discharged
